Concert for Cancer is dedicated to those we have loved and lost...
Many of us have lost, or know someone who has lost, family and friends as a result of Cancer. Concert for Cancer has been set up to raise funds for cancer research charities through music events.
Everything kicks off with a major concert during 2011 (date and venue tba). From then on we plan to roll out the 'Concert for Cancer' brand across bar and venues nationwide in the hope they will hold a series of their own 'Concert for Cancer' events helping us to raise a substantial amount of money for research based cancer charities.
Our chosen charity for our first event is UCARE, Urology Cancer Research and Education, who work tirelessly to improve the treatment and care of people with cancer through research and education. UCARE supports: - research into prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancers - the development of new ways to fight cancer - education information about urological cancers.
